Bio

I’ve been a serious movie buff and a fan of great television all my life, so a career in entertainment marketing is a natural fit.  After graduating with a B.A. in English, I studied cinema at New York University, earning a Master’s degree from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.  I then built upon my knowledge of the film arts with an award-winning career in television branding and on-air promotion.  For ten years I worked at the network level, producing national advertising for PBS, and then became an independent freelancer in early 2013.

As a writer, producer and video editor, I conceive and execute marketing campaigns that span the media spectrum, and my work has covered an exceptional range of content promotion -- including smash-hit dramas like "Downton Abbey," blockbuster science and history series, performing arts specials, public affairs programs, indie films, and more.  Often, the most compelling ideas, the most successful campaigns, and the greatest personal rewards come from working with extraordinary and inspiring material.  For this reason, I’ve dedicated much of my professional life to public television.  (Thank you, Ken Burns.)
